When you answer "Coming" or "Not coming" for a session, a few pieces of data are created. Here is what they are, who sees them and how you get rid of them. The binding version is the privacy notice on every answer page of your club.
Who is responsible?
Your club. It organises the training and decides whether attendance is switched on and who may see names. calovo only provides the technology and processes the data solely on the club's behalf – no purposes of its own, no advertising, no newsletter. Your contact for questions about your data is therefore the club (contact details in the imprint on the answer page).
Which data?
- Your first name and your e-mail address (for children: the child's first name, a parent's e-mail address).
- Your answers per session with time and an optional short note.
- Technical: a session cookie, after confirmation a recognition cookie for this club (30 days) and, to prevent abuse, briefly a checksum of the IP address.
Attendance is not linked to your calendar subscription: calovo still does not know who subscribed to which calendar.
Who sees what?
- Everyone with the link to the answer page sees the number of acceptances and declines.
- First names are visible – depending on the club's setting – only to members who answered themselves with a confirmed e-mail address, or only to the coaching team.
- Your e-mail address and notes are visible to the coaching team only, in the club's cockpit.
Which e-mails will I receive?
Only the one-time confirmation link after your first answer – and a short message if the club cancels or moves a session you had accepted. Nothing else.
How long does the data stay?
- Answers are deleted automatically 90 days after the session.
- Unconfirmed sign-ups disappear after 24 hours.
- Anyone who does not answer for 12 months is deleted automatically.
Delete immediately
Every answer page has "Remove me here" – one tap, and your name, your e-mail address and all answers at this club are gone. If you are active at several clubs, this applies per club. For access or rectification contact the club; it has export and deletion functions for that.
How answering works in the first place is explained under Training schedule: groups and "coming / not coming".
